Founding pilot — limited spots

An AI receptionist that sounds Australian — on the phone system you already run.

Stop leaking after-hours and overflow calls. AI4SMB integrates a local-sounding AI receptionist into your existing PBX — 3CX, Yeastar, whatever you run — so callers reach it on your normal number. Built and operated by an Australian MSP.

A classic desk phone on a workshop bench at dusk with an electric-blue soundwave rising from it — the call answered after hours

In short: an AI receptionist answers your business calls, handles common requests, books or triages appointments, and hands off to a human when needed. AI4SMB's difference is integration and operations — it runs on the phone system you already have, sounds Australian, and is monitored and supported like real infrastructure rather than a demo.

The difference

No new number. No rip-and-replace.

The widget shops give you a fresh number and leave you to forward calls to it. We integrate into the PBX you already run — because we have deployed and operated phone systems for decades. Your callers never know the plumbing changed.

How it works

From first call to fully monitored, in four steps.

  1. 01

    Audit & scope

We map your call flow — what comes in, when it leaks, what a good answer looks like. Nothing gets built before we know it pays back.

  2. 02

    Integrate

We wire the AI into your existing PBX. Callers keep dialling the same number; the AI picks up after-hours, on overflow, or on rules you set.

  3. 03

    Tune the voice

We configure an Australian-sounding voice, your business knowledge, and the hand-off rules — then test it on real call patterns before it goes live.

  4. 04

    Run & monitor

Live with monitoring, backups and support. You get transcripts and a human on the hook when something needs a person.

Founding pilot

Why we're calling it a pilot — out loud.

The Australian-voice stack is being validated in production right now. Rather than dress that up, we're onboarding a small number of founding-pilot customers at a discounted monthly rate, with direct founder involvement. You get an engaged build and honest expectations; we get the case study that proves the voice. We don't market capabilities we haven't shipped.

AI receptionist FAQ

What is an AI receptionist?
An AI receptionist is a voice assistant that answers your business phone, understands the caller, and handles the call — taking messages, answering common questions, booking or triaging appointments, and routing to a human when needed. AI4SMB's version runs on the phone system you already have, so callers reach it on your normal number.
How much does an AI receptionist cost in Australia?
Pricing is being finalised for our founding-pilot cohort and is set per business, because it depends on your call volume and how it integrates with your existing phone system. Founding-pilot spots are offered at a discounted monthly rate with direct founder involvement. Book an audit call for an honest number for your situation, and see our plain-English cost breakdown.
Does it work with my existing phone system?
Yes — that is the point. Instead of handing you a new number and a widget, we integrate the AI into the PBX you already run: 3CX, Yeastar and others. Calls come in on your existing number and the AI handles after-hours and overflow. We have deployed and run business phone systems for decades, so this is our home ground.
Why do most AI receptionists sound American?
Most are built on US voice models trained on American speech, so they carry US accents, phrasing and pronunciation of place names. We are validating an Australian-voice stack in production with our founding-pilot customers so callers hear a voice that sounds local. Read the full explanation.
Is my customer data kept private?
For businesses with confidential data — clinics, professional services — we offer a self-hosted and local-model option so call data does not have to leave Australia or sit on a US API. We can scope the right privacy posture during your audit.
What happens if the AI cannot handle a call?
It escalates. The AI is configured with clear hand-off rules — it takes a message, transfers to a human, or books a callback rather than guessing. It is run like infrastructure: monitored, backed up and supported, not left to fend for itself.

See if a founding spot fits your business.

Book an audit call and we'll map your call flow, tell you honestly whether an AI receptionist pays back, and — if it does — whether a founding-pilot spot makes sense.
