Founding pilot — limited spots

Your phones answered from 7am — without burning out your front desk.

New-patient calls arrive before you open and while your receptionist has three people at the counter. AI4SMB's receptionist answers instantly on your existing clinic number, books and triages against your rules, and treats confidentiality as infrastructure, not an afterthought.

A calm clinic reception before opening — the phone answering with a blue soundwave while appointment slots fill on the wall calendar

In short: an AI receptionist for clinics answers patient calls the moment they ring, handles bookings, reschedules and common questions, and escalates anything clinical to a human under your protocol. AI4SMB's difference: it runs on your existing phone system, sounds Australian, and offers a privacy-first, self-hosted option for clinics whose patient data must not leave their control.

Why clinics feel it worst

The front desk can't be in two places. The phone doesn't care.

The 7:40am problem

Patients ring before opening, at lunch, and after close — exactly when nobody's at the desk. Those calls are new bookings and same-day cancellations you could refill. The AI catches all of them.

Privacy is a requirement, not a feature

Health information deserves better than "trust us". We document where every recording and transcript lives, handle data under the APPs, and offer a self-hosted option that keeps voice data inside your walls.

Triage rules, written by you

The AI never plays clinician. Urgent-symptom callers hit your protocol instantly; routine bookings, reschedules and "do you bulk bill?" get handled without a human. Your front desk gets their day back.

Clinic questions, straight answers

Does it integrate with Cliniko or our practice management system?
Booking workflows are scoped per clinic during the founding pilot. Where your PMS (Cliniko, other practice systems) exposes an API, appointment capture can be wired into it; where it doesn’t, the AI books against defined slots or takes structured booking requests for your front desk to confirm. We tell you exactly which of those your setup supports before you commit — no vague integration promises.
What about patient privacy and where the data goes?
This is the question clinics should ask first. Call summaries and recordings are handled under Australian privacy law (APPs), and for clinics with strict confidentiality requirements we offer a self-hosted / local-model option so voice data doesn’t transit overseas AI platforms. Data handling is documented in writing as part of onboarding.
Can it tell an emergency from a routine booking?
It triages by rules you approve — clinical emergencies are never handled by AI. Callers describing urgent symptoms are immediately directed per your protocol (000 messaging, on-call clinician, or direct transfer). The AI handles the bookings, reschedules and FAQs that eat your front desk’s day.
Will patients accept talking to an AI?
Patients accept not being on hold. It answers instantly, sounds like a local receptionist, discloses it’s an assistant when asked, and hands off gracefully. For the calls that arrive at 7:40am before your front desk does, the alternative isn’t a human — it’s voicemail.

Give your front desk a second pair of hands.

Founding-pilot spots for clinics are limited. Start with an audit call — we'll map your call patterns and tell you honestly whether this pays for itself.
